Private and Supplemental Training is a key part of a ballet dancer's development. These sessions are an opportunity to work on skills or technique issues unique to the dancer. Offered for ages 10 and up, private lessons provide an opportunity for significant growth outside of the class environment. Students who have been selected to compete are required to take a minimum of one private lesson per week.

Additionally APDA offers supplemental training for small groups of six students or less. These are meant for students at the same training level and offer the opportunity to work on skills and technique in a smaller environment.

Both private and supplemental training are available to students from APDA only at this time.
